This CASA Australia accredited classroom training program ‘IATA DGR Initial Acceptance excl. Class 7 – Classroom’ takes the learner on the journey of how to apply the IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations.
The classroom training is filled with practical components consisting of competency based learning units, followed by the final assessment at ORP Training’s Training Centre in Northgate QLD. During the interactive units the learner will be hands-on with processing dangerous goods shipments, including packing and acceptance checks.
After successful completion of the program, and the final assessment, the learner will be issued with a certificate of competency that allows the learner to handle, pack, mark & label and document dangerous goods shipments for airfreight.
A copy of the current IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations is required to participate with the training. The IATA DGR is needed to progress through unit knowledge checks as well as for the final assessment.
Note: this training course is excluding Class 7 Radioactive Material due to limited requests.
