Dangerous Goods Training

By enrolling into our self-paced online training programs you agree with the training terms and conditions.

Online training programs are prepaid. Participants will be emailed their login after payment has been received.

Online self-paced training programs will have to be completed within 3 weeks from enrolment in the system. Upon enrolment in the system the learner portal will remain open for 3 weeks to undertake the training and assessment (where applicable). After 3 weeks the learner’s login will be deactivated. A reactivation administration fee of $25 (ex GST) will be charged when a learner’s login needs to be reactivated.

You may require a copy of the transport regulations for your training. IATA DGR for airfreight, IMDG Code for sea freight or the ADG Code for road freight. It is the training participant’s responsibility to have a copy when starting the training. If you do not have access to a copy, please contact ORP before enrolment.

When participating in our online training programs, you acknowledge that you, and only you, are completing the training and assessment(s) without any assistance (unless assistance is permitted in writing by ORP).

To ensure the booking of the training is confirmed and booked by ORP, training programs are on a prepay basis only.

When the training involves an assessment, and the participants fails the assessment, the training and/or assessment shall be taken again to obtain certification. This will be charged at 50% of the current training fee for that training course.

ORP Consultancy is committed to the accurate instruction of the safe transportation, storage and handling of dangerous goods.

Training materials are not intended in any manner, shape or form to replace any dangerous goods regulations, codes and standards, but it is rather intended only to assist you during your training course.

It is the responsibility of the training participant to ensure that dangerous goods are classified, identified, packed, marked, labelled, documented, handled and stored in accordance with the applicable regulations. Failure to comply with the applicable regulations may be in breach of the national and governmental regulations and may be subject to legal penalties and fines.

Due to the ever-changing nature of regulations, ORP Consultancy shall not be responsible for the absolute accuracy of the material contained in the training materials. Therefore, ORP Consultancy will not assume any responsibility for omissions, errors, misprinting, or ambiguity contained within the training materials and shall not be held liable in any degree for any loss or injury caused by such.

No part of ORP’s training material provided may be reproduced, scanned, distributed, or sold without the express written permission of ORP Consultancy.
