The INDOOR FLAMMABLE LIQUID STORAGE CABINETS COMPLY WITH THE AUSTRALIAN STANDARD AS1940 “THE STORAGE AND HANDLING OF FLAMMABLE AND COMBUSTIBLE LIQUIDS”.
This range of cabinets is suitable for the storage of flammable or combustible liquids as classified by the United Nations criteria and the ADG Code for Dangerous Goods. These include flammable liquids such as Paints, Solvents, Petrol, Thinners, Kerosene, Turpentine, White Spirits, Alcohol and Ethanol. Also, combustible liquids such as Diesel, Linseed Oil and Pine Oil.
Note: 1. For all two door cabinets, the internal height is taken from top of sump sill/bottom shelf to the sequential chassis assembly. 2. For all single door cabinets, the internal height is taken from the top of the sump sill/bottom shelf to the ceiling. 3.For total external width measurement, add 6mm per vent bung for tight clearance locations.
CLASS 3 FLAMMABLE LIQUIDS ARE LIQUIDS, or mixtures of liquids, or liquids containing solids in solution or suspension (but not including substances otherwise classified on account of their dangerous characteristics) which give off a flammable vapour at temperatures of not more than 60°C, closed-cup test, or not more than 65.6°C, open-cup test, normally referred to as the flash point.
