Lithium Battery Mark – Sale!

This label may continue to be used until 31 December 2026.

With this label you will need to a permanent marker to add the UN number. The UN number(s) on the mark should be at least 12 mm high.

Airfreight (IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations): packages containing lithium cells or batteries or sodium ion cells or batteries prepared in accordance with section II of packing instructions 966, 967, 969, 970, 977 or 978 and Section IB of packing instructions 965 and 968 must be marked with this label.

Sea freight (IMDG Code): lithium cells or batteries, sodium ion cells or batteries, under Special Provision 188.

Road freight (ADG Code): lithium cells or batteries, sodium ion cells or batteries, under Special Provision 188.

for lithium batteries under Special Provision 188 for sea freight (IMDG Code) and road freight (ADG Code).

• UN 3480 for lithium ion cells or batteries.
• UN 3481 for lithium ion cells or batteries contained in, or packed with, equipment.
• UN 3090 lithium metal cells or batteries.

The Lithium Battery Mark comes as a self-adhesive label, 500 stickers per roll. Dimensions: 120mm x 110mm.

Per the 1st of January 2023 the Lithium Battery Mark has been revised to remove the requirement for a telephone number to be provided on the mark, however the lithium battery mark with the telephone number may be continued to be used until 31 December 2026. Check out our Blog Post.
