Overpack Label – self adhesive, 500 labels per roll. Dimensions of the label (in mm; approximately, actual dimensions may differ a few mm): 120 x 46.
The lettering as per IMDG Code and IATA DGR must be at least 12mm high, tthe lettering for these labels is around 30mm to provide visibility.
OVERPACK: An enclosure used by a single shipper to contain one or more packages and to form one handling unit for convenience of handling and stowage. All Dangerous goods packages contained in the overpack must be properly packed, marked, labelled and in proper condition as required by the concerning Regulations.
Besides the marks and labels required for all the packages the overpack contains, the overpack also must be visibly marked with the word “OVERPACK”.
An overpack intended only for transport by road or rail within Australia does not need to be marked with the word ‘OVERPACK’.
This self-adhesive label can be used for airfreight, sea freight and road (transit between different modes) freight overpacked shipments. An overpack intended only for transport by road and rail within Australia need not be marked with the word “OVERPACK”.
