Yes, for all modes of transport (Air, Sea and Road & Rail) you need to be successfully trained to handle dangerous goods shipments. The way training is conducted may differ for each mode of transport. You will need to be able to show that training has been successfully completed; training sessions are followed by a test, and after successful completion of the test a certificate will be issued. Refresher training is required after a specified period, this is regulated per mode of transport.
